Christmas In My Heart |
|
2005.12.11. 09:40 |
Christmas In My Heart was the lead single from Sarah's first christmas album with the same title. It was a beautiful christmas ballad about only needing to have that special someone with you to feel like christmas. It also featured some male vocals from Sarah's earlier duet partner, Dwight Stewart from Naturally 7! The single was released, strangly enough, a week after the album.

From Zero To Hero |
|
2005.11.01. 19:53 |
"From Zero To Hero" was Sarah's first uptempo single since "Bounce" in 2003 and it was also the theme song for the German version of the animation movie "Robots", where Sarah had a speaking role and the official Red Nose Day Song 2005 in Germany. After 3 #1 singles in a row, all of them being ballads, it was a big question mark how the single would succeed, but already the first midweeks showed good signs and "From Zero To Hero" debuted at #1 in the German single charts, being Sarah's 1st uptempo #1 single and her 4th #1 in a row!

Living To Love You |
|
2005.11.01. 19:52 |
"Living To Love You", Sarah's declaration of love for husband Marc & son Tyler was released as the "comeback" single of Sarah after having nearly a year long baby break from the German spotlight. It entered the German charts straight at #2, only Eric Prydz with "Call On Me" ahead of her. After spending 3 weeks at #2, the #1 spot was Sarah's! It was not only Sarah's 4th #1, but her 3rd #1 single in a row. The last artist that managed to do that in Germany was Modern Talking in the 80s!

Just One Last Dance |
|
2005.11.01. 19:50 |
Just One Last Dance was originally Sarah's own song and it was released on Key To My Soul without Natural, but for the single, it was re-recorded with Natural, or mainly Marc Terenzi, Sarah's husband. It was released a few weeks after Sarah's and Marc's baby Tyler was born. So, even though Sarah was on a baby break and couldn't promote it with the guys, there couldn't have been better promotion than the birth of Tyler. With both, Natural's and Sarah's fans buying the single, it went straight to #1 on the first week and stayed on the top 10 for 7 weeks. It was Sarah's 3rd #1 single and her 2nd in a row.

Music Is The Key |
|
2005.11.01. 19:49 |
The lead single from Sarah's 3rd album, Key To My Soul, was a duet with an US-acapella band Naturally 7. Sarah saw a live gig from them and was so amazed by it that she wanted to meet the guys. At the meeting they realised that music connects and the idea for the song was born. The beautiful ballad released in the beginning of November did suprisingly good at the charts by debuting at #3 even though the promotion was only started after the single release. After 3 weeks of being in the top 4, it reached the #1 position on it's 4th week, which made it the 2nd #1 hit from Sarah.

Bounce |
|
2005.11.01. 19:48 |
Bounce, a strong, powerful track that will definitely make you wanna hit the dancefloor, was released on 21st July in Germany. It's a great track, a great video, even a great CD cover and the news about Sarah's pregnancy still in people's memory and the result was that it entered the German charts @ #16. Next week it climbed 4 places up to #12 and from then on it started to drop a little, but it stayed in the top 20 for 7 weeks, which is not so bad, is it? For some reason, the other European release dates were in the fall, months after the German release, but it did great in Poland, for example, by being #5 at the national airplay charts. In 2004 after Sarah's 3rd album release in Europe, things started to take off outside Europe as well. In the beginning of the year, Bounce was a huge airplay hit in the US. Unfortunately, the single was officially released only in May and it never entered the top 50 at the Billboard single charts. In Australia, it was released in April and was #1 for four weeks on the official dance charts and it's highest position was #14 in the actual single charts. It was also released in the UK in late May with good promotion including a TOTP appereance and performances at the famous G.A.Y. Astoria club and the Equinox club. It entered straight at #14 which was also the best UK chart position for Bounce and the best UK chart position ever for Sarah!

He's Unbelievable |
|
2005.11.01. 19:47 |
He's Unbelievable, the title track of Unbelievable, was the single that Sony Music decided to launch Sarah to the UK audience with. The original UK release date was planned to be 24th February, exactly a month before the German release date so that Sarah would have time to promote it in the UK. The song was about the tension of a first date and sampled 2pac's California Love. Unfortunately, they just kept on delaying the release date and finally it was released on 7th April with very little promotion and debuted at #86. In Germany Sarah promoted it quite well and the result was that it ended up in top 20 and stayed there for a while as well.

Skin On Skin |
|
2005.11.01. 19:36 |
Skin On Skin was Sarah's 2nd single from her 2nd album Unbelievable. The song was a beatiful ballad - just like From Sarah With Love, some people even said that it was too much like the smash hit, but I personally don't think so. Skin On Skin was hoped to boost the sales of Unbelievable which only debuted at #10 on German album charts, even though it went gold in less than 48 hours. Unbelievable got to #10 again while Skin On Skin made it to the #6 spot

One Nite Stand (Of Wolves And Sheep) |
|
2005.11.01. 19:35 |
One Nite Stand (Of Wolves And Sheep) was Sarah's first single from the 2nd album Unbelievable. It was rumored for a long time that Sarah would do a song with the superstar Wyclef Jean and finally, on July 2002, it was confirmed by Sarah's record company. The official premiere of the single was on Popkomm 2002, but it was played on the radio a few weeks before that actually. Unfortunately the single only made it to the #5 spot on the German charts. One Nite Stand was going to be released in the UK on 30th September - the German release date for the album Unbelievable, but it never did.

If U Were My Man |
|
2005.11.01. 19:33 |
If U Were My Man is the only Sarah single that hasn't been released in Germany and there is a really good reason for that: From Sarah With Love was the song that made Sarah known in the Europe, but it was also the last single release from Green Eyed Soul in Germany. It would have been very stupid from the record company not to release a follow-up for the smash hit in the countries where From Sarah With Love was the single that made Sarah known. But as Let's Get Back To Bed - Boy! had been released around the Europe with no success and French Kissing flopped even in Germany, there was no other choice than releasing a yet unreleased song as a follow up in Europe.
